He is the accountable human behind the editorial standard on every notice and answer page: sourcing every claim to a primary IRS or IRM document, holding the plain-English rewrite to the facts in that source, and refusing to publish anything the underlying record does not support.
Editorial responsibilities
- Reviews every notice page against its cited irs.gov and Internal Revenue Manual sources before publication.
- Maintains the Last-Verified date stamp on every page — pages fall out of the library when their source has moved and the citation cannot be re-verified.
- Approves the verbatim on-the-record government quotes surfaced on notice pages, and rejects any quote that cannot be sourced to a .gov or congressional record.
- Owns the editorial voice: plain English, calm urgency, no invented figures, no promised outcomes.
